VDM-1800R Near Eye Display (VR/AR) Optical Testing System

The VDM-1800R near eye display optical testing system is primarily used for measuring virtual image parameters of near eye display devices such as AR/VR. The measurement items encompass virtual image distance, field of view angle, eye box, brightness, chromaticity, uniformity, color gamut, distortion, MC, and more. Designed in accordance with the relevant requirements of the international standard (IEC63145-20-10), the VDM-1800R utilizes optical measurement technology that simulates human perception, offering fast measurement speed and high accuracy.

Usage conditions: 

he measurements should be conducted after sufficient preheating and under standard conditions, which include:

a) Temperature: 22 ℃~28 ℃;

b) Relative humidity: 25% RH~85% RH;

c) Air pressure: 86 kPa~106 kPa.

 

Equipment structure:

 The system mainly comprises a six-axis robotic arm, optical measurement equipment, a sample installation platform, a computer system, and an installation platform. The optical measurement equipment is connected to the flange of the robotic arm, controlled by software to rotate horizontally and vertically with the pupil center (Pupil) and eye center (Eye) as the origin. It tests the line of sight direction in the spherical coordinates (pitch and azimuth) coordinate system and translates up and down (y-axis), left and right (x-axis), and front to back (z-axis) to achieve eye position measurement in Cartesian coordinates.
