IEC 63145-20-20 Eye mounted displays - Basic measurement methods for image quality

IEC 63145-20-20 is an international standard focused on basic measurement methods for image quality of eye mounted displays (including head mounted display devices such as virtual reality VR and augmented reality AR), developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

The image quality of eye worn display devices is one of the important indicators to measure their performance, which directly affects the user's immersion and the accuracy of information acquisition. Therefore, accurate measurement of the image quality of eye worn display devices is crucial. The IEC 63145-20-20 standard specifies in detail how to measure image quality parameters of eye worn display devices, including but not limited to resolution, contrast, color accuracy, color saturation, dynamic range, image stability, and distortion correction.
