IEC 63145-22-20 Measurement Method for Image Quality of Eye Wear Display AR

IEC 63145-22-20 is an international standard specifically designed for measuring image quality of augmented reality (AR) eye mounted display devices, developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

As an emerging human-computer interaction interface, the image quality of AR eye mounted display devices directly affects users' perception of the fusion effect between virtual information and the real environment. Therefore, accurate measurement of the image quality of AR eye mounted display devices is crucial. The IEC 63145-22-20 standard specifies in detail how to measure the image quality parameters of AR eye worn display devices, including but not limited to resolution, contrast, color accuracy, color saturation, brightness uniformity, dynamic range, image stability, image delay, and distortion correction, with special consideration given to the perspective blending image quality unique to AR.
