On November 27th, the 4th International Symposium on Light Health and Light Medical Technology was held at Lihe Square in Zhongshan Ancient Town. The theme of this conference is "Light is the Future of Medicine - UV Applications", which conveys the latest scientific research trends in the fields of lighting, testing, medical care, etc. in China, in order to deepen academic exchanges in international and domestic light health and light medicine, promote scientific research and industrial development of UV products.

As an important platform for exploring and innovating in the field of photobiosafety, multiple industry experts attended the report meeting and delivered speeches. Gu Ying, academician of the CAS Member, gave a speech on the role of ultraviolet LED in the field of health care and research breakthroughs in recent years; David Sliney, President of the American Society for Photobiology, interpreted the international standards for ultraviolet lamp products and evaluated the radiation hazards of ultraviolet lamp products; Mou Tongsheng, the project leader of the International Standard for Photobiological Safety Testing, explained the effectiveness and safety measurement of ultraviolet radiation; Huang Xuebo, Chief Metrologist at the Optical Radiation Laboratory of the National Metrology Centre of the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research, answers questions about the measurement of broadband ultraviolet radiation meters; Speakers including Hu Qiuhong, member of the Swedish National Lighting Association, and Peng Zhenjian, deputy director of the Quality and Metrology Supervision and Testing Institute in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, shared their latest research results on ultraviolet radiation in their respective fields.
